On January 18, 2012, Valid’s Board of Directors unanimously approved, pursuant to Article 31 of CVM Rule 308/99 (new CVM Rule 23/21) , (ii) and based on Article 17, letter “l” of the Company’s Bylaws, authorize the hiring of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Auditores Independentes to provide independent auditor services in the interim financial information – ITR and Annual Financial Statements – DFP of the Company and its subsidiaries.
On May 19, 2017, pursuant to article 28 of CVM Instruction 308/99 (new CVM Rule 23/21), the Company hereby informs its investors and the market that, due to the end of the five-year period of auditing services by the previous external auditor, the Company’s Board of Directors’ meeting of March 12, 2017, approved the contracting of Ernst & Young Auditores Independentes S.S. (“Ernst & Young”), who will begin its activities with the quarterly information (ITRs) for the first quarter of 2017, inclusive. The contract with said company was entered into on March 13, 2017.
